A collaborative workshop to explore the stories shaping our behaviour, imagine desirable futures together and develop new ways to talk about transition and build a shared desire to act.
New Narratives invites participants to explore the stories that shape their imagination and influence their behaviour. Through discussion, they step back from familiar representations and create alternative ways to picture and describe the future together. The workshop brings emotion and creativity into the conversation to imagine more desirable futures and strengthen the desire to act. It complements formats focused on understanding issues by examining how people make sense of transition. This shared experience offers a starting point for communicating new narratives and continuing the reflection in everyday life or within an organization.
It works especially well after a more analytical workshop, or when an event wants to leave people with momentum instead of paralysis.
- This workshop is developed by its own association. Ecogames helps organize it, include it in public events, and connect venues with trained facilitators.
- Ecogames distributes more than half of registration fees back to the workshops' supporting associations, funding their deployment, evolution, and updates.
